There is wisdom in silence. There is wisdom in waiting to make your judgment until all the pertinent evidence is on the table. There is wisdom in not jumping to conclusions. There is wisdom in not automatically trusting everything those with ideological agendas say you ought to believe.

But the Bible points us in another direction: one of present allegiance to a heavenly kingdom and of future hope in God’s rebuilding of the world.

But the Bible knows better.
